From June to August, this undemanding shrub pumps out masses of papery white flowers with yellow centres that sparkle in the sunshine. Drought tolerant once established, Cistus x obtusifolius ‘Thrive' suits thin, poor soils and coastal sites and makes an ideal addition to Mediterranean-style borders, rock gardens or patio pots.
