Dahlia x hortensis ‘Lubega Dark Red Glow’ is a striking addition to any garden, featuring deep red flowers that bring a dramatic flair to summer and autumn landscapes. Its compact growth makes it ideal for those wanting to introduce bold colours without overwhelming their space. The fully double blooms not only create a stunning visual impact but also thrive in full sun, ensuring a vibrant display from mid-summer until the first frosts. The lush dark green foliage enhances the rich flowers, creating a beautiful contrast that elevates the overall aesthetic. To ensure healthy growth, plant ‘Lubega Dark Red Glow’ in well-drained, fertile soil enriched with organic matter, and maintain regular watering, especially during dry spells. This dahlia variety is not only visually appealing but also attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies, boosting garden biodiversity. Its versatility allows it to shine in borders, containers, or as cut flowers, making it a favourite among gardeners. For those in colder climates, lifting the tubers for winter storage is recommended to preserve their beauty for the next growing season. Regular deadheading will also promote continuous blooming, allowing you to enjoy their vibrant display longer.Height: 80cm (31 in) Spread: 50cm (20 in)
