These strong, self-supporting plants grow to around 1 metre in height, making them more manageable and better suited for windy spots or container gardening compared to the taller Excelsior hybrids. With their sturdy stems, they provide a robust foundation for delicately beautiful flowers with frilly, double petals in a range of stunning colour combinations, from bi- to tricolour effects. For an extended floral display, regularly deadhead the spent blooms to encourage side shoots, ensuring you have enough flowers to enjoy indoors in vase arrangements. The dried petals also make lovely confetti.
