A reliable pollinator for up to seven female kiwi plants, Kiwi ?Weikii? also makes an attractive and vigorous climber. This male hardy kiwi produces clusters of fragrant white flowers in early summer, making it an attractive companion for female kiwi varieties. Although it does not produce fruit itself, 'Weikii' is an important pollinator for female varieties such as Kiwi 'Bayern', helping to ensure a crop of delicious smooth-skinned kiwiberries. Its lush, dark green foliage creates a handsome leafy display through summer before turning bright yellow in autumn. As a deciduous climber, it develops a strong, twining habit and can make an impressive feature when trained over a pergola, arbour or other sturdy support. Hardy and vigorous, it combines useful pollination duties with attractive seasonal interest. Ultimate height: 5m (16.4ft). Ultimate spread: 3m (9.8ft).
