Kolkwitzia amabilis 'Pink Cloud'

Kolkwitzia amabilis 'Pink Cloud,' one of the best-known members of its species, is an RHS AGM winner. This magnificent deciduous shrub, also known as the Beauty Bush, looks great on large borders or as a stand-alone specimen plant. From May to June, the arching stems are coated in masses of pale pink trumpet-shaped blooms. As the flowers disappear, the dark green foliage makes an exquisite backdrop for other summer-flowering shrubs and perennials. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 4m (13').
