A superb hardy perennial with an elegant habit, beautiful blooms and incredible foliage colour in autumn and winter. Miscanthus ?Lady in Red? produces fresh, red-tinged foliage in spring, growing into a tall plant with cascading leaves that add graceful movement and texture to borders. As the season progresses, the red intensifies to create a vibrant display, and in late summer, upright stems topped with elegant, silvery flower plumes will emerge. In autumn, the foliage turns dark burgundy to create a blaze of colour that brightens the garden into winter. An excellent low-maintenance grass that will provide a long season of interest.Height: 1.2m (4ft). Spread: 1m (3.2ft).
