Nectarine 'Lord Napier' is a reliable, heavy cropping variety that produces masses of white fleshed and early ripening fruits. Flesh just falls away from the stone inside, making eating very easy. Top of the class for outdoor varieties to grow in the UK, for great flavour and size. Harvest from August. Peach, Nectarine, and Apricot rootstocks: Peach Seedling - dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8') Mont Clare - Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 3m (10') Torrinel - Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of 3m (10') Krymsk 86 - Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4m (13') St. Julien - Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4.5m (14') This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner.
