Peony Capital Trio

All named after European cities, Peony Capital Trio offers the glamour of peonies in even the smallest of spaces. Traditional herbaceous peonies are not suited to growing in pots, but Peony Capital Trio has been specifically developed for successful container growing, flowering prolifically on much shorter plants. Peony Capital Trio form neat bushy mounds of lush, deeply lobed, dark green leaves. Strong stems remove the need for staking and, unlike traditional varieties where the heavy blooms droop downwards spoiling the display, the flowers are held upright, their pert faces inviting admiration even when planted in low containers. Despite their petite proportions, Peony Capital Trio boasts large blooms that are produced in abundance.Herbaceous peonies will last a lifetime in your garden, giving late spring to early summer displays of show-stopping, ruffled blooms each year for the minimum of effort.
