Weigela 'Arabian Nights'

A dwarf Weigela with both beautiful foliage and flowers, Weigela ‘Arabian Nights’ offers an extended season of colour. Its compact size also means it is perfect for maximising interest in small spaces. Plant it into a container on a terrace, patio or balcony garden, or use it in a mixed border. Weigela ‘Arabian Nights’ forms rounded mounds of mahogany black foliage and striking black stems. The foliage provides the perfect backdrop to cherry-red, tubular flowers in spring which last for up to 4 weeks. Blooms continue to be produced intermittently throughout the summer. The dark foliage is great for creating depth in small spaces whilst bringing out the colours of adjacent plants. For a striking display, try contrasting it with yellow foliage plants.
